Auralab is a name with meanings both in English and my native Finnish.
Starting with the English:
aura – “a distinctive air or quality considered to be characteristic of a person or thing”
This is what I observe and help find and visualise, whether it is an individual, a group, an identity or a process.
lab – short for laboratory
I create by experimentation and discovery and also create this space for others to do likewise.
And now for the added meaning in Finnish:
aura – translates as ‘plough’ or ‘wedge’
A plough is a symbol for hard work and sometimes you need to plough your way through to get where you want to be. For me personally it is about a positive “doer” attitude.
