Ecodesign Centre (EDC) organised a collaborative event to explore the role of design in social enterprises. The focus of the one day workshop was to “design a business you believe in” to help two budding social enterprises formed with the support of Llamau, a charity working in South Wales to improve the lives of socially excluded, homeless young people.
I was invited to create a graphic recording to map the group intelligence, emerging ideas and discussion during the workshop. The recording took place during introduction talks and group activities, providing an accessible and informal visual reference for the participants. Illustrator Nathan Hallett also contributed to the graphic recording with witty little illustrations. You can read more about the event on the EDCshare blog.
It was great to have Laura as part of our workshop. Her ability to visually capture what was being discussed throughout the day provided everyone with a really useful summary. Most importantly the summary was accessible to the young people too and much more engaging than a report. We’ll definitely be using her service again.
